INTRODUCTION: Terremoto means earthquake in Spanish. An earthquake is the shaking of the surface of the earth, resulting from the sudden release of energy in the earth’s lithosphere that creates seismic waves. Earthquake resistant structures are structures designed to protect buildings from earthquakes. To combat earthquake destruction, the only method available to ancient architects was to build their landmark structures to last, often by making them excessively stiff and strong. Earthquakes are causally related to compression and tensional stress. RULES: A team should consist of maximum three members and is open to all branches. No two teams must have any common member.
